ALF National Convention 2025

The ALF National Convention 2025 took place today, bringing together the Leasing, Factoring and Renting sectors at the EPIC Sana Marquês Hotel in Lisbon, under the theme ''Growing Strategic Sectors''.

The annual event, which was attended by 140 people, began with a speech by João Duque, President of ISEG, and Luís Augusto, President of ALF. There were also two debate panels, the first of which was made up of the Presidents of the Portuguese Association of Distribution Companies (APED) José Nogueira de Brito, the Portuguese Logistics Association (APLOG) Afonso Mascarenhas de Almeida, the Portuguese Chemical, Petrochemical and Refining Association (APQuímica) Luís Gomes, and the Vice-President of the Association of Civil Construction and Public Construction Industrialists (AICCOPN), Ricardo Gomes.

The second panel, dedicated to the automotive market, was composed of Pedro Cordeiro from BYD Portugal, Paulo Fernandes from BMW Portugal, Nuno Bonneville from Galp, and Juan Santos from Bosch Car Service. Both panels were moderated by journalist Rosário Lira.

The first edition of the ALF Specialized Financing Awards 2025 also took place, in which 10 prizes were awarded, distinguished by two categories that aim to reward the institutions that have been most outstanding in terms of production volume and growth.

The ALF National Convention was closed by Gonçalo Regalado, Chairman of the Executive Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Banco Português de Fomento, followed by a convivial lunch.
