Mission and History
M I S S I O N
The Association's fundamental objective is to defend and to represent the legitimate common interests of its members, notably in relation to any public or private, domestic or foreign, contributing to the technical, economic and social development of the own activity of its members.
A B O U T O U R H I S T O R Y
1984
ALF was founded in 1984, as Apelease - Portuguese Association of Leasing Companies.
2000
ALF represents almost 100% of all entities that carry out leasing, factoring and renting activities in Portugal.
2005
APEF - Portuguese Association of Factoring Companies was merged into Apelease and change the name to ALF.
2008
ALF's statutes were changed to accommodate the companies of a new product: Renting.
2010
The name is changed to the current one, ALF - Portuguese Association of Leasing, Factoring and Renting.
2022
New website, modern and intuitive, focused on direct communication with our associates and members
