ALF re-elected Vice-President of the EU Federation for the Factoring and Commercial Finance Industry (EUF)

At the European Factoring Federation (EUF) Convention held on 21 and 22 March in Vienna, Austria, the Portuguese Association of Leasing, Factoring and Renting (ALF) was elected to a further term as Vice-President of the EUF, represented by its Secretary General Vitor Graça.

ALF's continuity in the Vice-Presidency reinforces its ongoing commitment to the development and progress of the factoring sector in Europe, in close collaboration with the re-elected President, Fausto Galmarini, of the Italian Association Assifact, and Vice-President Magdalena Wessel, of the German Association Deutscher Factoring-Verband.

In collaboration with all colleagues on the EUF Executive Committee, ALF and its members are determined to continue moving towards a more robust and dynamic factoring sector. In 2023, European Factoring Institutions (Factors) were responsible for taking on almost 2.5 thousand billion euros in invoices, demonstrating the very significant role they play in financing the European economy.

This re-election highlights the recognition of the contributions that ALF has made at EU level and solidifies Portugal's position as a major partner on the international financial landscape. With a renewed commitment, ALF will continue to endeavour to develop the treasury management sector for companies, supporting them in the national and international markets and promoting a future geared towards sustainability.
